Peter Sheldrake, Professor, RMIT Graduate School of Business

Peter Sheldrake joined RMIT Business in 1997, and is Professor of Business Entrepreneurship, As well as Director of Business Relationships in the Graduate School of Business. He began his working career as an academic, teaching in the Universities of Cambridge and Edinburgh, and at the Flinders University of South Australia. He then left the academic world, and for nineteen years worked in the private, government and not-for profit sectors. He was a chief executive for twelve years, and prior to joining RMIT University had spent nine years at the Australian Institute of Management. He has written various books and articles, and is a regular speaker, conducting workshops and programs on strategic leadership, innovation and related issues. His most recent books have been on innovation, Ronin and Revolutionaries and The Ronin Age. He has a long-term involvement with the arts and not-for-profit organisations, as a board member and source of advice on management and leadership issues. He has five children, and lives with his youngest daughter near Sunbury
