The Laughter Program
Research shows that Laughter has a positive effect on the human body. It provides a simple, effective aerobic workout, reduces stress and pain levels, relaxes muscles, calms the mind, gives diaphragm muscles a good work out and increases our sense of well-being. Laughter is good for our health, it's simple, it's fun and best of all, it’s free. But how can we have more laughter in our lives? It's very simple, just 'follow the leader'. Your Let's Laugh Laughter leader will take you through a range of movement based laughter experiences, starting with a simple smile and a bit of a giggle. You'll be taken on a journey of life-based laughter exercises, deep breathing and stretching that will leave you invigorated, inspired, re-energised and wanting more.
Bronwyn Roberts, founder of Let's Laugh has over 8 years experience speaker and workshop facilitator specialising in Stress Management, Laughter and Meditation. She was one of Australia's first certified Laughter Program Leaders and in 2005 trained with Dr Madan Kataria, founder of the International Laughter Movement, to become one of the first internationally authorised Laughter Teacher Trainers. In 2006 she was recognised as an inaugural International Laughter Ambassadors (1 of only 6 in the Australasian region) for her work in promoting Health Through Laughter. She is an Australian representative of Laughter Clubs International and the current president of Laughter Clubs Victoria Inc.
