Aamer Rahman is a host of Channel 31’s Salam Café; a group of mates who want to give Melbourne a window on everyday Muslims and have fun at the same time. Aamer recently hosted Multicultural Arts Victoria’s launch of Arts Law Week, where he masterfully handled artistic collaborations between senior legal figures and hiphop artists. Aamer was runner up in this year Comedy Festival’s Raw Comedy Grand Final. He moonlights as a lawyer and community worker with the Islamic Council of Victoria. His secret fears include paying taxes (and conscription).
