Use this tool to build/plan/ develop cultural activities that will address your council’s goals
Effective planning processes for local government involve much more than choosing activities. Most important are questions about the purpose of your work: what are you wanting to achieve and how will you and your council know you have got there?
This tool is for managers and creators of cultural development projects. It assists the connection of a new project to council’s goals (as per the council plan), enables consideration of the relevant evidence, helps articulate what the project is intended to achieve, and informs decisions about how the project will be evaluated.
It also provides a bank of evidence (published research and information about projects completed by other councils) to inform planning of a new project. This enables the choice of activities that have the best chance of achieving desired outcomes.
This tool is currently being built and trialled.
