Anne-Maree Pfabe has been employed in Local Government for over 20 years. Her first career was as a Children’s Librarian and later as a branch library manager. A variety of jobs in a busy library service were ample preparation for a 12 month secondment to the Arts and Culture Officer position at Moreland City Council. Seven years later, Anne-Maree is now the Unit Manager of Arts and Culture a role that involves overseeing a talented team that manages the presentation and programming of a number of festivals and events, a public art program, the Counihan Gallery in Brunswick and the Mechanics Institute Performing Arts Centre.
